Casa Cosmos is a unique oceanfront property with one of the only private beaches in all of Puerto Vallarta. Casa Cosmos is located 3.5 kilometers south of downtown Puerto Vallarta. It features an amazing native palapa design that offers the best of Vallarta's historic native style. The result is simple, elegant and completely livable. The villa combines native materials and craftsmanship with dramatic design and modern function. Historic Casa Cosmos was one of the early villas built adjacent to the old Puerto Vallarta fishing village in the 1960's. The villa was originally designed and owned by famed Mexican architect Alfredo Terrazes. Terrazes designed flamboyant American heiress Barbara Hutton's Cuernavaca villa as well as the Camino Real Hotel in Puerto Vallarta. Included in the nightly rental is your own private staff of four; cook, daily maid service, houseman and groundskeeper. The villa has a spectacular 50 ft. long (lap size) natural rock grotto style swimming pool with refreshing cool water Jacuzzi and rockslide. Bottled water provided in all bathrooms; purified water used for all food preparation. Living room features artisan crafted furniture, satellite television with VCR/DVD, stereo system with hidden area speakers and overhead fans throughout. Bedrooms are air conditioned.
The villa was beautiful, clean and nicely decorated with fresh flowers as well as lovely Christmas decorations including a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. We were very grateful for that!!!!!

The plantings are beautiful, the view is spectacular and once again the staff is excellent. They fixed breakfast for us daily and most dinners. The food was delicious and they carefully wrapped and refrigerated all our leftovers, which we then ate for our lunch. They were very kind to us and accommodating to our family including the 3 children in our party.
We enjoyed our stay!

It was one of my all time best vacations....and I travel a lot. The villa is absolutely beautiful and the pictures, while lovely, just can\\\'t capture the peaceful essence of the home. I love the high ceilings and the open-air living and dining areas, the views - spectacular. There were 8 of us women there who are all long-time friends celebrating our 50 year bdays and there was not one of us that didn\\\'t fall in love with the place. We never wanted to leave to do
excursions or even shopping! The staff was particularly excellent, just as nice and helpful and friendly as we could ever have hoped for. Food was even more wonderful. We had planned on going out a couple nights to
restaurants in the area but ended up only going out one night.
The night before we left, we were all sitting around and I asked everyone if there were suggestions we could make or changes or recommendations and honestly....no one could come up with a thing....other than it\\\'s too bad you can\\\'t make the days longer when we\\\'re there because we don\\\'t want them to end. We all want to come back again.
